Team BuildingBuilding effective, high performing teams!Effective teams have certain distinguishing characteristics in the way they work together and interact. Whether the team is well established or newly formed, these characteristics can make the difference when it matters most. Combining facilitative indoor learning with experiential outdoor learning is an excellent method of developing these characteristics. Our facilitators are specialists in development with a range of experiences in emotional intelligence, coaching, learning & development, psychology and both team and leadership development. As part of your enquiry, one of our facilitators will discuss with you exactly what you require from the event and establish clear objectives. Practical in-door activities will be designed around your specific needs. These will be practical and transferable to the work environment. Should you wish to use psychometric measures and profiles, then our facilitators will discuss this with you. The amount of time dedicated to in-door learning is entirely up to you. Typically this may be an introductory session and guidelines in the morning followed by review, feedback and action planning in the afternoon. Selected topics for your event may include:

Invisible MazeYou and your team mates must negotiate your way around a continuous route around the maze. Working one at a time, travelling vertically, horizontally or diagonally on your way. Kidnapped QuestYour company's managing director has been kidnapped! It is believed that they are being held against their will somewhere in the Slaley Hall estate. Fortunately one of the kidnapper has a conscience and has left a number of clues that he hopes will help you locate them before they are removed from the estate to meet their fate. You have no time to waste! To help you have the following:
NightlineYou have just been dropped onto enemy lines and its pitch black! You only have a certain amount of time to get you and your team mates back to safety before the enemy catches you. Your Allout Adventure instructor will give you a hard hat, hook you onto the night line and then blind fold your team. In the time available, your team has to follow the line. SwampBeing lost in the jungle isn't much fun, especially when the only way out is through the crocodile infested swamp. Luckily there are a number of wooden stumps and planks to help you try and cross the swamp safely. This is not as easy as it sounds!! Zoo ParadeThe team must arrange themselves in order of size based on the animal that each participant is assigned. Team members are not allowed to speak through this activity. Blindfolds are allocated and positioning must be based on the animal sounds heard. Read more...
Sheep & ShepherdOne team member is the shepherd and the remaining members are his faithful flock. Blindfolded, the flock must be directed by the shepherd into a selection of pens using only the instruction of the shepherds whistle within an allocated time period. Read more...
Bridge Too FarAfter completing your latest mission you and you team mates are on your way home. But what's this??...the bridge has been blown up and it's the only way to safety. For this activity you will need a good sense of balance and a head for heights. Using only the equipment provided you and your team mates must individually cross from one side of the ruined bridge to safety at the other side.
Raft BuildingYou have no time to waste on this activity. One of your team mates (dummy) is stranded in the middle of a lake and is quickly losing consciousness. You and your team mates must build a raft which is capable of safely transporting all of your team to your stranded team mate (dummy), bringing them back to the safety of dry land. Read more...
Moon WalkingYour team hid under a rocky outcrop during an electrical storm that created clusters of radioactive dust on everything except the craters linking you to the next outcrop. The whole team must reach the next outcrop stepping only on the dust-free craters. Your team only has 15 minutes to complete this activity before your oxygen supply runs out. Read more... |
